GoodPello Website(hereinafter referred to as “GoodPello”), operated by PTOne Presentation Group Co., Ltd., values your personal information and complies with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.

GoodPello collects only the minimum necessary personal information during the process of ordering digital content or using various services, in order to ensure smooth transaction processing and to provide useful, personalized services.The collected information will not be used for purposes other than those stated, and if the scope of collection or purpose of use changes, GoodPello will obtain prior consent from the user.

This Privacy Policy includes the following details related to the protection of personal information.

General Provisions

GoodPello provides a clear process for users to give their consent to the collection and use of personal information. By reviewing the "Privacy Policy and Consent to Collection and Use of Personal Information" and clicking the “I Agree” button, users are deemed to have given their consent.

In this context, "personal information" refers to any data about a living individual that can identify them - such as their name or email address - in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Guidelines established by the Ministry of Information and Communication. It also includes any information that, when combined with other data, can be used to identify an individual.

1. Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information

GoodPello collects and uses members’ personal information for the following purposes:

  1. a. To provide digital content
  2. b. To offer personalized services for each member
  3. c. To use as basic data for the provision of additional services
2. Policy on Not Collecting Sensitive Information

GoodPello does not collect sensitive personal information that may infringe on the basic rights of users (e.g., race, ethnicity, ideology or beliefs, place of birth, hometown, political orientation, criminal records, health status, etc.).

3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

Personal information is retained and used from the time a member registers with GoodPello until the time of withdrawal.

Except where retention is required by law, personal information is deleted immediately upon a member’s request for withdrawal.

Types of Personal Information Collected

GoodPello collects the following personal information for the purposes of membership registration, customer support, and service delivery.

1. Information Collected at Registration

When registering for an account, GoodPello collects information such as name, username, email address, password, country, address, postal code, company name (if applicable), and information provided through linked social network accounts (including API-linked data).

2. Automatically Collected Information During Service Use

As members use the service, information such as IP address, cookies, access timestamps, payment history, content purchase and download records, and user-generated activity (e.g., comments and posts) may be automatically collected.

3. Payment Information for Paid Services

When using paid services, payment information is collected depending on the payment method. For credit/debit card payments, this may include the card issuer and card number. For PayPal transactions, information such as the name and email address associated with the PayPal account may be collected for payment verification.

4. Methods of Collecting Personal Information

Personal information is collected through actions such as website registration, account updates, and newsletter subscription. It may also include user analytics data (e.g., cookies, IP addresses) provided by third-party services such as Google Analytics.

Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information

GoodPello uses the personal information collected from members for the following purposes:

  1. 1. To manage member accounts, including registration, identity verification, login, and user identification.
  2. 2. To process payments for paid services, verify purchase history, and issue tax invoices.
  3. 3. To analyze members’ service usage and activity statistics in order to provide personalized content and marketing materials, and to use as foundational data for improving service quality.
  4. 4. The specific purposes for each type of personal information are as follows:
    1. a. Username, password, social network account: Used for registration and login
    2. b. Email address: Used for identity verification, newsletters, and official announcements
    3. c. Country, address, postal code, company name: Used to identify the user for subscription services and license authorization

Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

GoodPello retains and uses personal information collected from members based on the following criteria:

1. Retention and Use Based on Internal Policy
  1. a. Customer information, IP access logs, and service usage records may be retained for a certain period even after membership withdrawal, in order to comply with requests from investigative authorities or other legal obligations.
  2. b. Even after account deletion, GoodPello may retain profile information and user-generated content for a commercially reasonable period to ensure continuity of service operations and for backup or audit purposes.
    Additionally, content and communications provided by users during service use - including posts and conversations (between members, with authors, or with administrators) - may be retained and used indefinitely for historical reference and service records.
2. Retention and Use Based on Applicable Laws

If retention of personal information is required under relevant laws, GoodPello will retain such information according to the standards below. Retained data will not be used for purposes other than those legally specified:

Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information

In accordance with Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act, GoodPello implements the following technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to ensure the security of personal information:

  1. 1. Establishment and Implementation of Internal Management Plans

    GoodPello has established and continuously enforces internal management policies to ensure the safe handling of personal information.

  2. 2. Encryption Measures

    Member passwords are stored and managed in an encrypted format and are protected in a way that makes them inaccessible to anyone other than the user. In addition, important data is encrypted during both storage and transmission to prevent external leaks.

  3. 3. Physical Access Restrictions

    Documents and auxiliary storage media containing personal information are stored in secure locations equipped with locks. Physical security measures are applied to prevent unauthorized access.

Procedures and Methods for Disposing Personal Information

GoodPello promptly disposes of personal information once the retention period has expired or the intended purpose has been fulfilled and the data is no longer needed. The procedures and methods for disposal are as follows:

1. Disposal Procedure

Information provided by members at the time of registration is safely destroyed once the purpose of collection has been achieved or the retention period has ended, in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws (refer to ‘Retention and Use Period of Personal Information’ section). Unless otherwise required by law, the information will not be used for any other purposes.

2. Disposal Methods
  1. a. Personal information printed on paper is destroyed securely by shredding or incineration.
  2. b. Personal information stored in electronic file format is completely deleted using technical methods that prevent recovery or restoration.
  3. c. Personal information retained for a certain period after membership withdrawal is stored and managed separately from other data to prevent unauthorized access or misuse, and is securely protected to avoid leakage or mixing with other information.

Provision of Personal Information

GoodPello does not provide a member’s personal information to any third party (individuals, companies, institutions, etc.) without the member’s prior consent. However, exceptions may be made in the following cases, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations:

  1. 1. When requested by government agencies pursuant to relevant laws such as the Framework Act on Telecommunications
  2. 2. When required for criminal investigations or at the request of the Korea Communications Standards Commission, and provision of such information is legally mandated
  3. 3. When the information is provided in a format that does not allow the identification of any specific individual

Additionally, if it becomes necessary to provide or share a member’s personal information with partner companies to offer a broader range of services, GoodPello will first obtain the member’s explicit consent. In such cases, members will be individually notified (e.g., via email) of the following details before any information is shared:

  • The partner company receiving or sharing the information
  • The specific personal information to be provided
  • The purpose and reason for providing the information
  • The retention and usage period of the information
  • The methods used to protect and manage the information

Under no circumstances will personal information be provided to or shared with partner companies without the member’s prior consent.

Outsourcing of Collected Personal Information

GoodPello does not entrust members’ personal information to external parties without their prior consent. If outsourcing becomes necessary in the future for service operations, GoodPello will notify members in advance of the identity of the entrusted party and the details of the outsourced tasks. Where required, consent will be obtained before proceeding with such outsourcing.

Rights of Members and Legal Guardians, and How to Exercise Them

Members may access or modify their registered personal information at any time, and may also request account deletion (withdrawal of membership).

  1. 1. To view or edit personal information, members may log in to their account and navigate to [My Account > Account Details]. Membership withdrawal can be requested via [My Account > Account Details > Withdraw Membership].
  2. 2. In addition to the method above, members may also request corrections or account deletion by contacting customer support via [Support Center > 1:1 Inquiry] or by email.
  3. 3. If a member requests a correction due to an error in their personal information, the information will not be used or provided to any third party until the correction is complete. If the incorrect information has already been shared with a third party, GoodPello will immediately notify the third party of the correction so that they may update their records accordingly.
  4. 4. Personal information that is deleted or deactivated at the member’s request will be handled in accordance with ‘Retention and Use Period of Personal Information’ section, and will be securely managed to prevent access or use for any other purpose.

Use of Automated Data Collection Tools (Cookies) and How to Refuse Them

GoodPello may install and operate automated data collection tools such as “cookies” to provide users with personalized services. A cookie is a small text file sent from the website’s server to the user's browser, and is stored on the user's computer hard drive.

1. Purpose of Cookie Use

GoodPello uses cookies for the following purposes:

  1. a. To analyze access frequency and visit duration of members and non-members
  2. b. To understand user preferences and interests in order to provide personalized content
  3. c. To utilize statistics related to event participation and visit counts for marketing and service improvement purposes

These cookies help GoodPello provide more optimized services to its users.

2. How to Disable Cookies

Users can configure their web browser settings to refuse cookies or to receive a notification each time a cookie is being stored. However, refusing cookies may result in limited access to some services.

Users may contact the designated officer or relevant department with any questions, complaints, or reports of data breaches that arise while using the service. GoodPello is committed to providing prompt and sincere responses to all such inquiries.

Inquiries and Reports Regarding Personal Information Infringement

If you require consultation or wish to report an incident related to personal information infringement, you may contact one of the following independent organizations. These institutions operate separately from GoodPello and are responsible for handling such matters directly.

Duty of Notification

This Privacy Policy will take effect on July 1, 2025.

It may be subject to additions, deletions, or modifications in accordance with changes in government policies or advancements in security technologies.

In the event of any changes, GoodPello will notify users through its website at least seven (7) days prior to the effective date of the revised policy.
